Q: Do you make any money from this website?

A: Nope! It actually costs me money…and a hell of a lot of time to run this website. I do it for the love!

Q: Then why do you run it?

A: Because I love the Coogs and I want to do everything I can to promote them! Also, I noticed there was no good fan blog covering the team. SB Nation has dedicated blogs to stupid UTEP and Buffalo, but not UH! So I decided to do what any self respecting Texan would do: I created the site myself.

Q: Why are so many posts links to articles on other websites?

A: The goal behind this website is for Coogs fans to have one centralized location to find articles about the team from every source out there. Whether ESPN, FoxSports, CBS Sports, the Houston Chronicle, or the Daily Cougar writes an article about the team, I want Coog fans to not to have to search far to find all of the best news.

Most fans are super busy with school and/or work and don’t have time to spend all day combing Twitter, various message boards, and other places like I do to find all of the relevant UH news.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

A. I’ve got lots of ideas on how to grow and improve the website in the future. This is just version 1.0 of the site. Stay tuned and you’ll see some cool stuff in the future.

Q. Can I write for your website?

A. Absolutely! Give me a shout weston(at)cardiaccoogs(dot)com and feel free to let me know what ideas/topics you’d like to write about.

Q: Do you work for the school? I see you mentioning ticket sales a lot.

A: Lol, nope! This blog is 100% independently owned and operated. Since the university is a public government institution you can easily confirm that for yourself.¬†Though, if President Khator wanted to hire me full time, I’d probably listen.
