Former Houston wide receiver Tyron Carrier hired to coach West Virginia receivers

Former Houston Cougars wide receiver Tyron Carrier was hired Wednesday to serve as West Virginia’s new wide receivers coach. The 28 year old Carrier played under Mountaineers coach Dan Holgorsen for two seasons when Holgorsen was Houston’s offensive coordinator. Carrier previously served as a graduate assistant at Baylor under former Houston head coach Art Briles.
