UH alum Charles Sims had breakout year for the Buccaneers in 2015

University of Houston alum Charles Sims had an excellent sophomore year in the NFL in 2015. Sims rushed for 514 yards on 103 carries and also added 42 receptions for 487 yards with four receiving touchdowns for a total of 1,001 all-purpose yards.

Sims played for the Cougars from 2009-12 and upon receiving his degree transferred to West Virginia where he reunited with former Houston offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen. Sims was drafted by the Bucs in the third round of the 2014 NFL draft.
