The Houston Cougars men’s basketball team stunned the LSU Tigers 105-98 last night at Hofheinz Pavilion in front of a crowd of 7,918, the highest since Houston had 8,918 watch the Coogs play Memphis on Jan. 30, 2008.

With the win the Coogs are now 6-1 and are showing no signs of slowing down. With the Hof packed and Coog fans rocking out, the school knows there’s tons of potential that they’re trying to tap into to re-build the once-dominant basketball program.

  1. What a game! It is so exciting to think about where this program is heading. How about Chicken Knowles, and wow, Rob Gray is a big time player!

This is going to be a fun season!!!
