Coogs leave Tulane in the dust and move up in the polls

The Houston Cougars whooped the Tulane Green Wave on Friday night 42-7 in New Orleans.

Demarcus Ayers was in full beast-mode racking up 283 all-purpose yards, 175 coming off of punt returns. Ayers ran one punt back for a touchdown. Ayers also caught six receptions for 93 yards and had two rushes for 15 yards and a touchdown.

Greg Ward, Jr. added to his underdog Heisman campaign going 17-of-25 for 222 yards and a touchdown through the air while adding 77 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Ward now has an insane 14 rushing touchdowns on the season which is tied for first place in the country with LSU’s running back Leonard Fournette.
