Journalist Niki Noto Palmer wrote an interesting nugget over on her blog: When the Houston Cougars football traveled to away games in previous years their first class seats would be reserved for boosters. Not anymore. Palmer writes that Coach Herman has reserved those seats for the Coogs’ offensive and defensive linemen:
The offensive and defensive linemen are first in line before others no matter what they’re doing [eating] or where they’re going [away games]. In fact up until Coach Herman took the reigns, Houston boosters occupied first class seats when the Cougars traveled to away games. Not anymore.
