Over at CoachingSearch.com there’s an interesting nugget about Coach Herman from a recent interview he did on Mad Radio in Houston:
I lost a lot of friends in this process, or guys I thought were friends,” Herman told Mad Radio in Houston. “They find out I get the job and call me up and say, ‘When am I coming?’ Hang on. Maybe if it had been some other job at some other place at some other time, maybe that would have been right, but the NCAA only gives me nine full-time coaches. I’ve worked with some really good coaches. I’ve worked with over nine really good coaches, but these were the ones I felt (fit best).”
I’m sure coach Herman had a lot of tough decisions to make when choosing who to add to his staff, but it looks like he made some good decisions. Full scoop over here.
